GSA Move 2,000-Person Agency From NoMa To Suitland

A Message from Harold W. Johnson II

To our Homeowners at Towne Square,

As I’ve shared with you all, GSA and Commerce Dept has seen our commitment to transforming this community and the Federal Center with the creation of Towne Square. We’ve worked so hard to convince GSA that Towne Square and the Federal Center would be the absolute best location to expand outside the federal core! Now they’re delivering nearly 2,000 employees and the Headquarters for the Bureau of Labor Statistics from DC’s own up and coming NOMA to Suitland Federal Center is a huge win for us and the County. This is only the beginning! We are so committed to delivering to you, and our new neighbors, great retail experiences and the completion of this award-winning multigenerational mixed-use town center, now more than ever.

On behalf of CJR, The County Redevelopment Authority and The Revenue Authority, thank you for joining us on this journey and selecting Towne Square as your new home and community.
